A gorgeous light fawn with white trim, he also carries the blue gene and expresses for white head piebald. Shoya is a large boy at 54cm, balanced in bone to his size and weighing 16.5kg

Instinct

Shoya posseses amazing natural breed instinct, having never seen a lure until 14 months old, or grown up to encourage the desire, he immediately switched onto his pure instinct from the first go and showed off his amazing chase and catch with a beautiful correct soft mouth. Shoya is quiet and doesnt waste energy, the true working whippet style of hunting.

From the moment I laid eyes on his photos, I knew I had to have him and after 10 long months, he arrived into Australia! He has the perfect pedigree with low COI and high genetic diversity, he has the most perfect personality and temperament you could ever hope to own. With his phenomenal daisy cutting movement, his perfect front construction, an underline to die for with a correct tight tuck up, balanced on his perfect long loin, long, flat croup, giving great width in thigh and strong hocks, top it off with the most perfect whippet head you could find anywhere in the world, and thats Shoya!

Meet Shoya

Shoya is the embodiment of sweetness and loyalty, with a temperament that is both confident and calm. Imported all the way from Poland, Shoya handled his huge flight and lengthy quarantine stay with incredible resilience, emerging ready to embrace his new life in Australia with his usual steady and loving nature. Polite and considerate, he’s the perfect housemate and the most relaxed companion you could ask for. He’s known for his love of naps—often sprawled out in a roached position with his legs straight up in the air, particularly at the foot of the bed, delightfully blocking the TV screen! His extraordinary temperament makes him an absolute joy to live with, a dog who brings peace and happiness to every moment.

On the coursing field, Shoya has found his passion. He adores the lure, showcasing remarkable instinct and drive, and has secured top placements in every trial he’s entered so far. With such a promising start to his coursing career, his future in the sport looks incredibly bright.

While Shoya’s movement is true to breed standard—daisy-cutting, with impeccable precision—he finds the show ring a bit dull. Though he prefers not to show off his beautiful conformation, his value as a treasured gem is undeniable, and he has nothing to prove to anyone.
