Kiera's Pregnancy

Kiera came into heat on the 2nd July! She was inseminated via TCI with chilled semen collected morning before insemination and flown down to SA from QLD.

Her due date is the 18th September, 2023.

2nd July - Day one of heat cycle

6th July (Day 4) - 1nmol/L

13th July (Day 11) - 6.77nmol/L

15th July (Day 13) - 6.8nmol/L

17th July (Day 15) - 17.7nmol/L (Ovulation)

18th July (Day 16) - 38nmol/L

20th July (Day 18) - 4pm TCI Insemination with chilled semen

Week 1

Week 1 Measurements

Weight:13kg

Waist: 40cm
No physical changes yet.

Week 2

Week 2 Measurements

Weight:13.7kg

Waist: 42cm
No physical changes yet. Starting to go off food, which can be a good sign at this stage.

Week 3

Week 3 Measurements

Weight:13.4kg

Waist: 42cm
I spy a little baby bump developing perhaps, fingers crossed!

Ultrasound Day!

We are excited to announce Kiera is pregnant! Day 26 from Ovulation.

Week 4

Waist: 42.5cm
Baby bump has become very visable this week, Kiera has been only wanting to eat a small amount of food each day.

Week 5

Week 5 Measurements

Weight:14kg

Waist: 45.5cm
Kiera may not look bigger than last week, but her belly measurements have grown and weight has been gained! We had a another ultrasound done on day 33 to try count numbers, and we saw 6 or 7 on Kiera's ultrasound, so shes hiding them in there somewhere!

Week 6

Week 6 Measurements

Weight:14.3kg

Waist: 46.5cm
Belly is growing fast now, appetite is increasing and her ability to leave the bed is lowering haha!

Week 7

Week 7 Measurements

Weight:15.2kg

Waist: 50cm
Getting bigger! Smaller, more frequent meals are required now, can't fit too much food in her belly at once anymore.

Week 8

Week 8 Measurements

Weight:16.7kg

Waist: 59.5cm
1 week to go!! Babies are kicking around lots and Kiera is very sleepy and doesnt leave her bed very often at all. Not long to go now and I can't wait to meet them all.
